Orlando Hudson

Ken Rosenthal said today that Orlando Hudson "seems to be banking on the Mets or the Yankees to pursue a creative solution." That statement intrigues me. Neither team has an opening at 2nd base. If the Yankees are legitimately pursuing him, the only options they have are to trade Robinson Cano (for a CF? MAYBE Matt Kemp?), or keep Cano and move Hudson to CF. Now the first one seems more plausible than the second. Who knows if he can play center? Who knows if he wants to? I certainly wouldn't mind throwing the guy into the CF mix.
